Too Many Music Ideas!
I've had a really funny "problem" lately where I've been coming up with a bunch of ideas for Albums or EPs, but never actually making any progress with them! I'm amazed I was able to actually make "Exploration," though it's probably due in part to the fact that there are only 8 songs (and two are under 2 minutes long).
I guess to organize my thoughts a little bit, here's a list of some of the ideas I have:
- Frogworld - An video game concept album about a little frog-venture!
- Awakening - A collection of Minecraft inspired music based on my worlds.
- M.M. Slider - Original K.K. Slider inspired songs.
- K.K. Slider covers/remixes.
- Little Animal Town - Original music inspired by Animal Crossing.
- A collection of songs inspired by colors
- A collection of Songs inspired by playing cards (we're startin' to get very abstract here!)
- A Steven Universe music cover/remixes
In addition to all my ideas, I also just have a lot of random stuff that I've made over the years that I've tried again and again to catalogue into albums, but they never really felt like they fit.
Right now I have all of that stuff in what I like to call my "digital musical sketchbook", ranging from the tiniest little things to songs that could very well be considered complete and finished! When I do start doing more music work, I'll probably grab some things from in there to use as a jumping off point to work from, so fortunately it won't all just sit there for eternity.
